About MAS - Charlotte

Established in 2006 as a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization, MAS-Charlotte is a dynamic charitable, religious, social, cultural, and educational organization. It offers unique programs and services that seek to better the individual and in turn, the greater society by imparting Islamic knowledge, promoting community service, engaging in political activism, and much more.

 

Focusing on personal development of individuals through a comprehensive Islamic educational curriculum, MAS-Charlotte promotes active involvement in communities across the U.S. by providing opportunities for community service, interfaith initiatives, youth programs, and civic engagement.  By cooperating and collaborating with other organizations, MAS-Charlotte has expanded its reach into thousands of communities across the United States.

Educational Programs

Our educational initiatives include comprehensive Islamic studies courses, youth mentorship programs, and interfaith dialogues. These programs aim to deepen Islamic knowledge, foster leadership skills, and promote mutual understanding and respect among different faith communities. Community Services

MAS-Charlotte is dedicated to serving the broader community through various service projects, such as food drives, health clinics, and disaster relief efforts. Civic Engagement

We encourage active participation in civic life through voter education, advocacy training, and public policy initiatives. Our civic engagement programs empower individuals to become informed and proactive members of society, advocating for justice and positive change. Quran Memorization

From Beginners to Hufadh this program is designed to encourage and support all members of our community to engage with the Quran. Every Monday & Wednesday | 5:30-6:30 Recite to our Shaykhs and take your memorization to the next level!

Friday Night Halaqa

A weekly halaqa led by Sheikh Muhammad Khan, over the past 7 years this program has grown from 15 youth attendees to over 100! Join us as we venture into our latest series on the Prophets! Pizza is provided after every halaqa, youth are also encouraged to stay for some bonding time with friends!

Dawah

As we have seen an increased number of reverts, the need for a program to help educate them has also increased! This new initiative is aimed at providing new Muslims with a program dedicated to them and their needs!
