Community Program
Founded in 2011 by a group of Syrian American professionals, Sunrise USA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that operates independently of any political or religious affiliations. Today, it stands as one of the leading NGOs in the United States focused on providing humanitarian assistance to Syrians, with an emphasis on aiding families, orphans, widows, child development, and educational needs.
Sunrise USA is dedicated to developing sustainable solutions for the challenges faced by Syrians today. With the lives and futures of countless children and families at stake, we ensure that no time or resources are wasted.
Since the beginning of the conflict, we have maintained an unwavering commitment to support families, orphans, and widows through a robust humanitarian network of hundreds of workers on the ground.
Our efforts are directed toward both immediate and lasting impact. Short-term programs focus on providing emergency aid and essential resources for internally displaced Syrians and refugees. Long-term initiatives aim to rebuild Syria’s infrastructure, focusing on education and human development.
None of this would be possible without our generous donors, yet the needs continue to grow. It is a monumental task, but together, we can make a meaningful difference.
