Inception of The Noor Center can be traced back to the early 2000s, when the MAS Maryland community began to discuss and raise funds for building a youth center. By the Grace of Allah SWT, two properties were purchased in 2018 and construction began shortly afterwards to convert one of the properties into a masjid. With construction completing in early 2023, The Noor Center continues to be a community effort led by MAS Maryland.
