Islamic Center of Chicago (ICC Masjid)

In the name of Allah the most Merciful and the most Beneficent. All praise belongs to Allah. At-Takaful Islamic Society was established in 1987 to serve the cause of Allah. The Society functions on the principles of Islamic Shurah- under the guidelines of its by-laws. The Society is governed by a Board of five to seven permanent trustees and the Executive Director (Ameer).

The Executive Director (Ameer) is the administrator responsible for execution of the policies and decisions of the Board and the operations of the Society. The Society is a “Not for Profit” Islamic organization registered and incorporated in the State of Illinois, USA. The Society is Tax Exempt under the rules of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the State of Illinois. The Society is located at 5933 N. Lincoln Avenue in Chicago, has a covered area of about 10,000 square feet which is used for mosque, school and da’wah activities. The current available space is insufficient and a larger building is badly needed.
