Burr Ridge Bilingual Montessori

First off, Burr Ridge Bilingual Montessori was built by Aesha Nahas and her husband Ammar after they moved back to the US ending many years of work in education overseas. 

In 2016, BBM established its place in Burr Ridge as the first Bilingual - English/Arabic Montessori Preschool, with a focus on Islamic Education. After six successful years, BBM was looking to expand.

BBM moved into one-and-a-half acres of land at 1321 Plainfield Rd in Darien with a beautiful 6000 sq. ft. built-to-purpose building to update and reinvent the location. With two Montessori-trained teachers with over 50 years of combined experience in the field, the school was quickly updated and plans were made for expansion.

With the addition of an Elementary State Certified and Montessori-trained teacher, BBM was able to respond to the demand of the community by enrolling students for grades 1st to 3rd for the school year 2023/2024 with a plan to go up to 6th grade in 3 years.
