Job Summary
Help us build environments where Muslims can practice their faith openly, confidently, and without discrimination. The Director of Safe Spaces will lead advocacy, education, training, and partnership initiatives designed to make schools, workplaces, public institutions, and other spaces more inclusive of Islamic religious practice and expression.
The Director will work with community members and institutional leaders to advance meaningful accommodations for prayer, Ramadan, Eid, hijab and modest dress, religious grooming, halal food, and other expressions of faith.
Our goal is bigger than responding to discrimination — we want to normalize and protect Islamic practice in American society by helping institutions build religious inclusion into their policies and everyday practices.
