Job Summary

The Community Outreach Coordinator will play an important role in growing Muslims Bright by connecting with masajid, Islamic schools, nonprofits, community organizations, Muslim-owned businesses, student groups, and community leaders. This position focuses on introducing organizations to Muslims Bright, explaining the benefits of joining the platform, and helping them create strong organization profiles, listings, events, donation campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and hiring posts.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, networking, community service, and relationship-building. The coordinator will help organizations understand how Muslims Bright can support their visibility, outreach, event promotion, fundraising, volunteer engagement, and community growth.

The Community Outreach Coordinator will also follow up with organizations, collect needed information, coordinate onboarding steps, and work with the internal team to make sure each organization is properly represented on the Muslims Bright website and mobile app.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reach out to masajid, nonprofits, schools, businesses, and community organizations.
  • Introduce Muslims Bright and explain the platform’s services and benefits.
  • Help organizations join the platform and complete their directory listings.
  • Collect organization details, logos, contact information, events, donation links, and program information.
  • Support organizations with event, donation, volunteer, hiring, and marketing listings.
  • Build long-term relationships with community leaders and organization teams.
  • Follow up with leads through phone calls, emails, messages, and meetings.
  • Coordinate with the Muslims Bright team to update listings and onboard organizations.
  • Attend community events, meetings, and networking opportunities when needed.
  • Track outreach progress, conversations, and organization status
