Rukhsana Iqbal, MD is a board-certified physician and specializes in treating patients with both medical and psychiatric illness. She received her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH and went on to do a dual residency in Family medicine and Psychiatry at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She then completed her fellowship in Consult-Liaison psychiatry at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. She has practiced as an adult psychiatrist at Hinsdale Behavioral Health in Hinsdale, IL for the last 12 years. She is an adjunct professor at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL and teaches family medicine residents at Loyola MacNeal hospital in Maywood, IL. She lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and their 3 children, among whom she counts as her best teachers.
