Biography of Dr. Akram Kassab: He holds a doctorate in Islamic thought. He has a special interest in Islamic propagation (da'wah), Islamic political theory (siyas), the Prophet's biography (sirah), and the jurisprudence of minorities. He has published hundreds of articles in numerous Arab and Islamic newspapers, magazines, and online publications. He has taught at the Islamic University of America and the Al-Manarah Institute in America. He has participated in numerous television programs and television channels. He is the head of the Fatwa and Research Committee and the Scientific Committee of the Council of Imams of the United States of America. He is a member of the World Conference of the National Union of Imams of North America (NUAF). He has several television programs, including: (Seize the Opportunity) 30 episodes about Ramadan; (The Numbered Days) 15 episodes about Hajj; (The Inspired Prophet) 30 episodes about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him); (Quranic Reflections) 30 episodes about the Quran; Moderation in Islam 30 episodes; and Neglected Sunnahs 30 episodes.
