Bio of Dr. Akram Kassab

Biography of Dr. Akram Kassab: He holds a doctorate in Islamic thought. He has a special interest in Islamic propagation (da'wah), Islamic political theory (siyas), the Prophet's biography (sirah), and the jurisprudence of minorities. He has published hundreds of articles in numerous Arab and Islamic newspapers, magazines, and online publications. He has taught at the Islamic University of America and the Al-Manarah Institute in America. He has participated in numerous television programs and television channels. He is the head of the Fatwa and Research Committee and the Scientific Committee of the Council of Imams of the United States of America. He is a member of the World Conference of the National Union of Imams of North America (NUAF).
