Bio of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Sheikhi

Sheikh Ahmed Muhammad Al-Sheikhi, born in Benghazi, Libya. Sheikh Ahmed embarked upon teaching the Quran according to the Libyan standards of teaching for five years in Libya with his teacher Sheikh Adam Al-Hasnawi. He moved on to teaching in various Islamic communities throughout Switzerland for over 6 years. He finally moved to the United States of America in 2004, and began his quest, teaching in various cities such as Chicago. Several students in Chicago have memorized the Quran with Sheikh Ahmed. Sheikh Ahmed formulated this approach to learning and reading Quran (the Bidaya curriculum) only after 20 years of experience in teaching in Libyan, European, and American communities. This approach has earned high recognition from various scholars in the U.S, Arab, and Muslim worlds (such as Sheikh Muhammad Kurayyim Raajih and Sheikh Yahya Al-Ghawthani.)
