About Ismahan Abdullahi
Dr. Ismahan Abdullahi is a strategist, political organizer, and trainer with deep expertise in leadership development, civic engagement, political advocacy, and faith-based organizing. Currently serving as the National Director of the Muslim American Society’s Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (MAS-PACE), she leads with a faith-centered approach that cultivates principled leaders, builds accountable organizations, and addresses both domestic and global injustices. Ismahan has served as a leader and/or as a board member for multiple local, state-wide and national spaces, including the United States Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), Co-Vice Chair of Administrative and Financial Committee for the San Diego County Water Authority, American Muslim 2024 Election Taskforce, Power California, Somali Family Services, co-Vice President of Black and African Women Rise, and the Muslim Leadership Council of San Diego. As a transformational leader and motivational speaker, Dr. Abdullahi is deeply committed to human rights, youth leadership, organizational development, and fostering a strong connection to Allah, Most High. Her commitment to faith, justice, and building an equitable society is unwavering.
