About William Asfour
A Palestinian from Gaza, William Asfour holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from DePaul University and is driven by a lifelong commitment to justice and liberation.
Having lived in Gaza and witnessed his own family endure genocide, displacement, and loss, William has been fueled to educate others and speak unapologetically for Palestine. He has worked with Illinois State Representative Abdelnasser Rashid and engaged with elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels to elevate community voices and push for meaningful change.
William is dedicated to uplifting Palestinian and Muslim narratives and will always use his platform to advocate for truth, dignity, and freedom.
