Here we go again foodies! Season 11 of the Chicago Food Truck Festival presenting, "The Summer of the Daisy." Come out and taste from some of Chicago's top gourmet food trucks and tent vendors. So join us as we gather some of Chicago's top food trucks. The Summer of the Daisy, will delight foodies through a collaboration with the Chicago Margarita Festival preparing and servng an assortment of margarita flavors paired with our chef prepared mobile eats, over live music all the while imbibing on the daisy!

The Daisy

Margaritas have a long history and are often credited with being related to the Mexican drink known as the Daisy. If you didn't know, "margarita" is Spanish for "daisy." The big difference between the popular Margarita drink and that of the Daisy, is that Margaritas are made with tequila instead of brandy.

We have come along way foodeis. Once looked upon with amusement. Not anymore. Food trucks have become an integral part of community, culture and food. Starting in 1866 with the first Chuck Wagon up until today food trucks have become a welcomed part of American and international culture.

The Chicago Food Truck Festival will continue to feature some of Chicago's top gourmet food trucks serving a variety of delicious dishes and tasty treats. We will continue with free and VIP admission this year as well. So, prepare yourself to enjoy gourmet eats, delicious beverages, live music expressing the heart and culture of Chicago. And as always, this year is about family, food and fun, and now margaritas!
